Saying Goodbye...
I don't know about you, but I look back at 2011 with fond (and not so fond) fashion memories!
Here are a few street style trends that we have seen pop up EVERYWHERE!
Yes, we too at one point were into these trends...but I'm guessing that we will not be too terribly sad to see them go.

Cozy and Warm...
One of the best things about chilly weather is getting to cozy up in a fabulously fashionable coat!
Fur is the trend this season {faux and genuine} and is more than likely to stay the trend for awhile!
Faux or not, you can't go wrong with the glamorous {and cozy} look of a fur collar.
Shopping at Revente the other day, I found these...
I adore the variety of styles and labels I find when resale shopping...love the fact that my wallet won't suffer the shock of retail prices!
I might just get two!

'Tis The Season..
Are you ready for your holiday party?
Grace your next event or party in this lovely stretch taffeta, Kay Unger New York cocktail dress.
The asymmetric cut of the gathered top and fitted waist are completely feminine and very flattering.
Pair it with some fabulous gold earrings and strappy pumps and you will for sure, turn heads!
A retail price of $395 would make most of us think twice, right?
Revente Upscale Resale has it for a mere $69.98!
If you're a size 8...no thought required!

Details, Details, Details...
Proof positive that details are a good thing!
Menswear inspired detail...just so happens, the monogram matches her shoes!
A nice touch.
Hints of gold detailing on the buckles and heels.
Matching cobalt...eye catching!
Are you detail oriented?

All About Denim...
The weather is finally cooling off!
Time to slip into some fabulous denim.
I found a blog that I have fallen in love with...I must share!
Here's a quick lesson on denim washes and where to wear them!
{Thank you Taylor Davies!}
Acid Wash
An acid wash finish creates significant contrast in the color of denim fabric.
They are a bold wash and are best worn on the beach as cut-off shorts for a fun vintage look.
Give them a more modern look by adding a polished separate.
Sanded Finish
A sanded finish is achieved with a combination of pumice stones, enzymes and sand, natch. This process is used to create the illusion of aged denim.
This wash is great for a casual weekend outing - comfy and soft!
Throw on those boyfriend jeans and relax.
Throw on those boyfriend jeans and relax.
Stone Wash
Stone washing is a process that gives denim a worn-in, more relaxed look, and gives the fabric added softness and flexibility. The process removes color and adds contrast.
The lighter wash is great for casual outings.
I love the dark wash which can be dressed up or down for just about any occasion.
Rinsed Denim
This the darkest wash of all! They look great in a trouser cut and good for the office or a night out on the town. These look equally good in a skinny style worn with a great pair of heels, of course!
Be careful with these when washing...separately and inside out only!
The indigo dye is not a color you want on ALL your clothes!

Whatever wash is your favorite, you'll have to agree...nothing feels quite like a great pair of jeans!

Outrageous!
So...I just couldn't help myself!
Being a true shoe lover, I had to double-take at these shoe finds!
I love bananas, but...really?
Just in case you might find you have need for a slingshot?
Hmmm...the therapist is in?
Just plain silly!
Where would you wear these and why?!
I really have no words...
Your thoughts?
Fashionably yours?

Street Style...
A reminder of why we love fashion!
My favorite ensemble here is the polka dot top and pants, paired with gold accesssories
(yes, gold is back in a big way!)
Loving the high heeled sandals topped off with a fabulous, green, snakeskin clutch!

Street Style...
We've seen bohemian styles fade in and out of fashion pretty regularly.
It's back and in full swing!
It's easy to achieve this look and those of us with a passion for resale, know that it doesn't have to cost a fortune.
Well...I'm pretty sure you know where to go!

Style...
I must admit...I am a people watcher.
I love going into the city and witnessing the many expressions of style.
I also like to walk away inspired!
The nuetral and earth tones on both of these ensembles completely caught my eye, and...of course-love, love, love the gladiator heels! *sigh*
