As a prior Dallas resident, and a confirmed 'resale junkie' I assure you there are only a couple of other stores in the entire Metro Dallas area with garments this fine -and actually priced to sell! I shopped there 40 times In four years and left with just about as many really priceless (under $40.) goodies.

Moment of Truth
Years ago I worked for a hotel corporation in Dallas, Texas and my position was in the corporate area that required wearing casual business attire. During this time, I used to go to a small shopping center with free parking near my home where I enjoyed the theater and picked up the racing schedule. Next door there was a small store that attracted my attention while I used to pass by. Revente Upscale Resale is a women’s designer consignment boutique, where I would have a special moment of truth.
My Moment of Truth started with the sales person, a beautiful woman who immediately approached me and gave me an introduction to the store. “We specialize in upscale clothing and accessories; we offer only the best in designer clothing and hot brands for you,” she said. She invited me to step inside, and check the racks to see if the color of the ticket price matched the dots with the discount price. Hence, I would get a wonderful bargain with popular labels, such as Escada, Chanel, Prada, LV,BCBG, Cole Haan, Talbots, Banana Republic, etc. On top of that, there was a rack that contained all items at 70% off. That was enough for me to make a purchase and to become a regular customer.
Weeks later, they offered me to trade my wardrobe into their business on consignment. Therefore, the value of my wardrobe for the first ten items was about fifty dollars, and I was able to choose a non-profit organization, one that I was volunteering for, to donate the items that were no longer useful to me and the store. That was a double customer satisfaction. I have learned that a Moment of Truth is about the place, the person, the product and the price giving a smile to the customers in only few seconds.
Because of the clothes that I wore, I won the Employee of the Quarter at the hotels corporation by the end of that year, and I was invited to work for the boutique as a part time sales associate. I worked for them from the year 2000 until 2005, and I still have my casual business attires.
Have a Happy Thanksgiving Day Donna Derrick and her staff!!
